About me

My name is John MacEachen and I have been guiding clients in Scotland since 2016. Born in Glasgow, I now live in Perthshire, about one hours drive north of Edinburgh. Thanks to family connections in the Highlands, I have travelled extensively in Scotland from a young age. I have always been fascinated by Scotland's culture, spectacular scenery and rich history; particularly the Jacobites and the phenomenal Castles. A career in the Scottish Tourist Industry as a private guide, meeting people from all over the world and showing guests the very best Scotland has to offer, is a dream job!

In 2020 following two years of intensive studying and training I was awarded the coveted 'Blue Badge' for guiding, the highest guiding qualification in Scotland.
